The Business School welcomed CU Denver alum and healthcare leader Rulon Stacey as the new director of graduate programs in health administration on January 1, 2020.
Stacey, who has a BS in economics and a masters
in health administration from Brigham Young University, is no stranger to
Colorado. He received his PhD in public administration from CU Denver’s
Graduate School of Public Affairs and served as CEO of Fort Collins’
Poudre Valley Health System, which during his tenure received the
Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award—a recognition

Since 2007, the Rocky Mountain Cable Association has
hosted their annual case competition, the Cable Apprentice. This year, the
competition featured student teams from CU Denver, University of Colorado –
Colorado Springs, and the University of Denver.
The winners of the Spring 2020 competition were Jessica Olvera, Vasanth
Rajasekar, and Chantelle Stevenson who

Lance Holman is the president and CEO of Holman Capital Corporation, a company he started in 2009 with the dream of providing knowledge, ideas, and capital to state and local governments, educational institutions, and health systems in the US. What drives student Daniel Rivera-Ibarra is quite personal. “I grew up in a lower middle-class family, which inspired my focus in real estate,” Daniel said. “Specifically, I want to help Hispanic families attain their first home, by helping them understand the financial side and guiding them through the complicated process.” What home looks like for Daniel’s family partly explains how he developed a passion for real estate. One question you may be
asking yourself is, should we be worried? The answer according to Joseph
Murdock, Information Systems Professor here at CU Denver Business School,
is yes. “Prior to computers, if I was going to
manipulate your vote, I would need some type of proximity,” Murdock said. Not
