DENVER— The Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) Program awarded $29,370 in scholarships to 25 students enrolled in the RMI program at the University of Colorado Denver Business School.  Scholarships have been a major focus for the RMI program because they help recruit top students into an industry that they may not consider, or even know about. Cindy Baroway, CPCU, M.Ed., AIC, was elected as the 2013-14 president and chair of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter Society leadership council at the CPCU Society Annual Meeting on Oct. 27 in New Orleans. Baroway is a lecturer in the Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) program in the University of Colorado Denver Business School. The CPCU Society provides resources, educational programs and leadership opportunities for its 23,000 members in the property and casualty insurance industry.  Read more
