On May 22, 2018, a serious fire broke out on the roof of Hale Library at Kansas State University. While the fire was eventually extinguished, it resulted in widespread smoke and water damage throughout the building. “This was a tragic loss to be sure, but it is also an opportunity for re-creation and maybe a re-think,” says Sheila Yeh, Associate Dean for Collections, Discovery and Information Technology Services at Kansas State University Libraries.  Read more

Only about half the graduates from the CU Denver Health Administration program end up running hospitals. In his search for new Health Administration Alumni Board members, Rulon Stacey, Director of Graduate Programs in Health Administration, wanted to find alumni who represent the variety of opportunities the program creates.   “Our program develops the best hospital administrators in the world, but that’s only half of the students we have,” said Stacey.  Read more

The University of Colorado business schools at Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs have been working together on an initiative called the CU Diverse Doctorates in Business (DDB) program. The goal of the program is to increase the diversity of business school professors by encouraging more of our underrepresented undergraduate students and alumni across the CU System to pursue a PhD in a business discipline and ultimately become business school professors.  Read more
