Each semester a group of CU Denver Business School MBA students are given the rare opportunity to collaborate with a company from Colorado for course credit. Kathleen Phillips, originally from Michigan, moved to Colorado with a comfortable job at a well-known company. After her move, Phillips’s world was turned upside down in an instant when her father unexpectedly passed away. Regardless if you’re familiar with the phrase, it’s where Adam Pecht, BSBA in Entrepreneurship, came up with the idea for his e-commerce and marketing technology platform, SUBLMNL. At one point, Pecht wasn’t even sure he would complete his degree, but he graduated in spring 2017 with a diploma and a mission of giving back to the action sports industry.  Read more
