University of Colorado – Denver Business School Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) students recently participated in a two-week intensive course in Denver, including class lectures, presentations, and case studies, to prepare them to experience global risk management in the non-traditional Excess and Surplus Lines Market. The class then traveled to London, June 1-7, 2015, attended presentations from insurance brokers, risk management companies, Lloyds of London, and reinsurers to learn how risk is transferred globally.   Read more

The Symposium showcases the research, creative and entrepreneurial activities of students on the Denver Campus and Anschutz Medical Campus. On April 10 and 11, at the Denver Marriot City Center, Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) chapters from across the Rocky Mountain region met.  The regional meeting was hosted by the University of Colorado Denver Business School’s Theta Sigma chapter. Theta Sigma held a special “Meet and Greet” event at the Business School on Friday, April 10^th, which brought together over 100 students from 13 regional chapters with more than 50 professionals from Denver area top financial firms.  Read more
