On October 2nd, a lively crowd – consisting of community members and CU Denver leadership, faculty, staff, and students – cheered on the CU Denver Business School and the Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship as they broke ground on the soon-to-come Jake Jabs Event Center. Josh Churlik came to Denver in 2005 to get his MBA and build something great. He knew he’d love Denver, and he knew CU Denver Business School was the place to get his MBA. Running a profitable food truck restaurant while going to school full-time isn’t always easy, but it sure is an adventure. Just ask Jonathan Tejada, a 20-year-old entrepreneur and undergraduate marketing major at the CU Denver Business School. I’m currently an MS in Marketing student at the CU Denver Business School. As a part of my degree, I took a Maymester personal branding course through the Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship.
