The CU Denver Business School was honored to host a delegation of cybersecurity experts who visited on February 22, Denver through WorldDenver and Denver Sister Cities International. The Indian cybersecurity experts are members of the US Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs International Visitor Leadership Program. The five-member Indian delegation is on a three-week tour of the US, visiting key cyber cities and partners to gain insight and discuss global practices linking digital policy to the emerging global threats of cybercrime, cyber risk, and law enforcement.  Read more

The 2017 Spring Career Fair hosted by the Business Career Connections (BCC) office will be held on March 8. As the latter half of the spring semester rapidly approaches, the job hunt for students and upcoming graduates is getting into full swing. It can be a stressful time, leaving many students wondering how and where to start their search. Held once a year, the Business School Career Fair provides students and alumni with the chance to meet and network with corporate partners from major industries within the field of business.  Read more

Business School study abroad trip focuses on re-establishing entrepreneurism in communist nation In January, the University of Colorado Denver Business School took 16 students on a study abroad trip to Cuba, a country experiencing a renewed wave of entrepreneurial spirit. Although Cuba remains a communist nation, Raul Castro’s transition to power has allowed the creation of state-approved private businesses, many of which are flourishing.  Read more

In the world of business, finance is a universal language. Recent CU Denver Business School graduate Conor Steffey, decided to try his hand at speaking it halfway across the world. For most people, the idea of moving can daunting, especially when your new home is located half a world away. But for Conor Steffey, a recent MS in Finance graduate holding a Certificate in Commodities, the choice to pursue a commodities career in New Zealand was an easy one to make.  Read more
