  • MBA student helps sustainability firm enhance software platform

    Current MBA student Christina Volpi recently shared her experience working for Sustainable Collaborations Group (SCG) with CU Denver Business School’s Managing for Sustainability Advisory Council. She spoke on her completed research on SCG’s Sustainability Performance Measurement software and shared her findings with the council. SCG, a third party Sustainability Performance Measurement and Management services organization, has created software that gives clients an automated way to capture, maintain and manage sustainability activities, data, and information via an all-inclusive, integrated system.  Read more

  • A Celebration of Success: Alumna Jennifer Leitsch gives back

    Jennifer Leitsch is a dedicated alumna to the CU Denver Business School. Named to Denver Business Journal’s 40 under 40 in 2014, Jennifer has applied her MBA and Master of Science in Marketing degrees to their fullest. Currently, she is Director of Corporate Responsibility at CBRE, developing strategy and reporting around environmental, social, and governance initiatives.  Read more

  • Student shares hands-on experience in her sustainability field study course

    The Sustainability Field Study Course at the CU Denver Business School led by professor Graham Russell that concluded this past Spring gave students the real world experience they crave. Students who took the coursework individually or in small teams to conduct a semester-long sustainability project in a local company, government agency or non-profit. These projects address a clearly identified need and lead to a well-defined product or deliverable that can be achieved within the duration of a single semester.  Read more

  • Prize for sustainability issues in business curriculum

    Dr. Sue Keaveney’s Managing for Sustainability marketing course, “Marketing and Global Sustainability” at the CU Denver Business School, received honorable mention for the Dr. Alfred N. and Lynn Manos Page Prize for Sustainability Issues in Business Curricula award. The award results from an international competition hosted by the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.   Read more
