The Managing for Sustainability Advisory Council consists of 42 sustainability leaders in and around Denver alongside Business School faculty.

The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver partnered with Coursera to develop a high-demand specialization entitled “Data Warehousing for Business Intelligence.” Coursera is a leading provider of a platform for Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), partnering with many top universities worldwide. The specialization was developed by Associate Professor Michael Mannino and Professor Jahangir Karimi from June 2015 to April 2016. Read more
The University of Colorado recently launched an online course series teaching data warehousing on Coursera, the world’s largest open online education provider. Launched on September 15, the Data Warehousing for Business Intelligence Specialization is a series of courses taught by CU Denver’s top faculty. The certificate program is open to anyone and ends with a capstone project, in which students build their own data warehouse with business intelligence functionality. Read more

The University of Colorado is playing an important role in the development of a high-demand MOOC (massive open online course) specialization, partnering with Coursera to create a data warehouse concepts track that will provide learners value in the marketplace.
“We already had a data warehouse MOOC in the works when Coursera approached us – it took off from there,” said Deborah Keyek-Franssen, associate vice president for digital education and engagement. Read more
Nearly 27,000 people recently took part in the Global Energy Management Program’s first massive, open, online course (MOOC) through Coursera.
