• The Business School is Moving

    We want to share some great news with you! The CU Denver Business School is preparing for the final phase of moving to the newly renovated building at 1475 Lawrence Street in downtown Denver. This state-of-the-art building is designed to foster partnerships between the university and businesses, and will serve as the gateway from downtown to the CU Denver campus. To ensure we are open and fully operational on August 6th, the Business School offices will be closed from Tuesday, July 31st through Sunday, August 5th.  Read more

    This year’s fifth-annual “Become a Business Leader with an Edge” event on October 25 broke all previous attendance records, topping out at 303 students. Representing diverse interests and backgrounds, the students arrived at St. Cajetan’s on the Auraria Campus with a single purpose–to hear from area executives about the emerging possibilities in business and information technology (IT).  Read more

    Last week Wal-Mart’s CEO Mike Duke stunned critics by announcing the company is developing sustainability labels for all of its products. The labels won’t appear for several years, but when they do they will reflect each product’s energy consumption, water and material efficiency, effect on climate change and social and community impact.  Read more
