On September 29, the CU Denver Business School and the Business Career Connections (BCC) office held the first virtual career fair to connect students and alumni with employers and facilitate connections for internship and full-time jobs.
More than 180 Business School students and alumni participated in the Career Fair and had exclusive access to 21 employers and 70 recruiters. Read more
The coronavirus pandemic brought cruise ships to the fore last spring, when passengers infected with COVID-19 were stuck on board. But ethical dilemmas at Carnival started nearly 20 years ago. In October, an audience of more than 130 heard the inside story about how Carnival turned things around.
The Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative (DFEI) Collegiate Programs at the CU Denver Business School and the CU Boulder Leeds School of Business partnered with the DFEI Collegiate Program at Colorado Law to present its Annual Ethics Lecture, “Carnival’s Compliance Journey.” Read more

The CU Denver Business School has been exploring some of these challenges with the Denver business community through webinars and virtual events. March 4, the Business Career Connections (BCC) center held the Spring 2020
Career Fair in the newly opened Jake Jabs Event Center.
Students
had the opportunity to network and connect with 27 employers, who accepted
resumes and offered information about their organization’s jobs and internship
opportunities. Sarah Montoya-Ortega, a MS Management major, said “I enjoy
coming to the Career Fair because it’s great to get employers’ perspectives on their own companies in
