The Beta Mu chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS) of the Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) program at CU Denver was awarded a Chapter Management award at the Gamma Iota Sigma 44th Annual International Conference in Columbus IL Friday, October 9th, 2015.
GIS is a student-led international insurance and actuarial society. The Beta Mu chapter at CU Denver was inducted into GIS in April 2014 at the Denver National RIMS conference. Read more
Last year the University of Colorado Denver Business School joined fifteen other schools nationwide when they decided to start offering a Master of Science in Taxation. The high demand degree came as a result of Professor Eric Zinn reaching out to the business community to tailor the Certificate in Taxation, and soon realized the need for a comprehensive program offered through the university. The University of Colorado Denver Business School will host “Become a Business Leader with an Edge” executive panel on Tuesday, October 21 from 5:15 – 7:00 p.m. The ninth annual event, presented by the Information Systems Program and the Information Systems Association will be held in St. Cajetan’s, on Auraria campus. The event brings together business leaders from some of Colorado’s premier companies to discuss the future of business and technology. Read more
Study after study shows students involved with clubs perform better academically than those that aren’t. On September 3 and 4, the University of Colorado Business School lobby hosted its student organizations for recruiting.
From 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM organizations like Net Impact and Society for Human Resource Management handed out brochures, event invites, and goodies to everyone that stopped by. Read more
