Then check out this new Bioinnovation program, which is doing its part to make bioscience students more employable. “We have an oversupply of Ph.D. bioscience graduates relative to the number of bioscience jobs that are available,” says Arlen Meyers, a University of Colorado Denver professor who’s teaching a course titled, “Building Biotechnologies: Fundamentals of Life Science Technology and Entrepreneurship,” one of three required to earn a certificate in bioentrepreneurship.  Read more

  • Saudi Arabia executive visits the Business School at University of Colorado Denver

    Mr. Henry Wang, Executive Adviser of Corporate Strategy & Planning at Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC), visited the Business School on April 14, 2011.  During his visit, Mr. Wang met with the Chancellor of the University of Colorado Denver and the Dean of the Business School to discuss wide-ranging developments in the renewable energy field.   • Leading Chinese hotel executive visits the Business School

    Mr. Jianping Wei and his son visited the Business School at the University of Colorado Denver on July 14. Mr. Wei, the chairman of Beijing Intercontinental Hotel, toured the new Business School building with Dean Sueann Ambron and other CU officials. Mr. Wei gained a first-hand exposure to the new Business School building while learning about the wide range of the educational programs offered at the CU Denver and Anschutz Medical campuses.  Read more
