  • CU Diverse Doctorates in Business program bolsters underrepresented students and alumni 

    The University of Colorado business schools at Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs have been working together on an initiative called the CU Diverse Doctorates in Business (DDB) program. The goal of the program is to increase the diversity of business school professors by encouraging more of our underrepresented undergraduate students and alumni across the CU System to pursue a PhD in a business discipline and ultimately become business school professors.  Read more

  • Ethics Topics: Carnival Cruise Line Course Corrects

    The coronavirus pandemic brought cruise ships to the fore last spring, when passengers infected with COVID-19 were stuck on board. But ethical dilemmas at Carnival started nearly 20 years ago. In October, an audience of more than 130 heard the inside story about how Carnival turned things around. The Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative (DFEI) Collegiate Programs at the CU Denver Business School and the CU Boulder Leeds School of Business partnered with the DFEI Collegiate Program at Colorado Law to present its Annual Ethics Lecture, “Carnival’s Compliance Journey.”  Read more

    Students at Ethics OnSite DaVita Ethics OnSite gives students an unparalleled opportunity to spend time on-location exploring ethical challenges and opportunities from some of the nation’s leading organizations. Students walk away with hands-on experience and valuable connections to top-level executives. The program, hosted by the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative (DFEI) at the CU Denver Business School, is open to all CU Denver students, both graduate and undergraduate, with out-of-town travel expenses paid by the DFEI.  Read more
