On September 29, the CU Denver Business School and the Business Career Connections (BCC) office held the first virtual career fair to connect students and alumni with employers and facilitate connections for internship and full-time jobs. Manuella Tabares loves helping people. It is why she enlisted in the United States Air Force Reserves in 2015. Through her work as a Personnelist for the Air Force, she discovered a passion for human resources. “I love talking to people, helping people, taking care of people,” said Manuella. “It’s really cool that I get to do it within the military – I never thought that would be an option for me.”  Read more

It is no coincidence one of Christina Epling’s favorite quotes is by Wayne Gretzky: “You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take.” Christina at Hard Rock Stadium Christina has never been one to shy away from taking those big shots, working in sports and events. As an undergraduate student at UCLA, she interned for 20^th Century Fox, Sony, and Fox Sports. Her first job kept her near the Silver Screen of Southern California, working at Paramount where she learned about ad buying.  Read more

Yvonne Castellanos received a BA in Mass Communications from CU Denver in 2011.
