Each semester a group of CU Denver Business School MBA students are given the rare opportunity to collaborate with a company from Colorado for course credit. Kathleen Phillips, originally from Michigan, moved to Colorado with a comfortable job at a well-known company. After her move, Phillips’s world was turned upside down in an instant when her father unexpectedly passed away.
